What Does the RISE Internship 2025 Offer?
Successful applicants receive a comprehensive scholarship that includes:
- A monthly allowance of 992 Euros, calculated daily for shorter stays.

Basic Requirements:
To apply for the RISE DAAD Internships, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a recognized institution in North America, the UK, or Ireland.
- Have completed at least two academic years of study by the start of the internship.
- Possess a strong academic record, particularly in fields relevant to the internship projects, such as biology, chemistry, computer science, or engineering.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an asset but not mandatory.
- Show motivation to engage in research and cultural exchange, exemplified through a personal statement and letters of recommendation.

Who Can Apply for RISE 2025?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be enrolled as an undergraduate at a university in the US, Canada, the UK, or Ireland

- Successfully completed a minimum of two years in your degree program.
- Maintain undergraduate status after the internship concludes
Note: German citizens are eligible only if they have lived outside Germany for six years or more.
Internship Duration and Flexibility
Internships can begin between May 15 and July 15, 2025, lasting from 10 weeks to 90 days. While start dates are flexible, they should be agreed upon with your provider.
