Responsibilities

- Participate in crime scene management, including evidence collection, preservation, and documentation.

- Assist with public awareness campaigns and educational programs to promote crime prevention and public safety.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge of policing techniques, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including forensic experts, legal professionals, and social workers, to ensure effective service delivery.
- Adhere to the professional standards, code of conduct, and ethical guidelines established by SAPS.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assigned tasks and duties.
Qualifications
- South African citizenship is mandatory.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree or diploma program in fields such as criminology, law, forensic science, psychology, sociology, or related disciplines.
- Strong academic record and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement or related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and members of the community.
- Ability to work in a diverse and challenging environment with a high level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Possession of a valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory).
