Responsibilities
- Communications Intern:
- Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies, including social media management, content creation, and website maintenance.
- Support the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Contribute to the production of newsletters, press releases, and other communication materials.
- Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in nonprofit communications.
- ICT Support Intern:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to SANGONeT staff and stakeholders.
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of ICT training materials.
- Support the organization and delivery of ICT-related workshops and capacity-building initiatives.
- Research and Advocacy Intern:
- Conduct research on key social and development issues relevant to the NGO sector.
- Assist in the production of research reports, policy briefs, and advocacy materials.
- Support the organization of workshops, conferences, and advocacy campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze policy and legislative developments impacting civil society organizations.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for the nonprofit sector, ICTs, and social development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant educational background or experience in communications, ICT, research, or advocacy (specific requirements may vary based on the internship position).
